About the Sunflower
The sunflower has a special place in our story. After experiencing the bad luck of our building burning down on Friday the 13th, we were heartbroken. Luckily, the only irreplaceable items in the office were salvaged – our patient records. This was our first sign of good luck! The second sign came, when out of nowhere, sunflowers began sprouting up at the site where the building once stood. As the construction of the new building was delayed, we were worried that the village would start to complain or we would get fined for all the weeds. But, instead, residents started complimenting us on the beautiful sunflowers in our lot.
This random act of kindness brought us and the village much joy during a tough time. It’s a special part of our story that we love to share.
